Responsibilities and Duties

● Bears fully responsible for all the Bar and beverage production outlets.
● Maintains a professional work relation with colleagues, staff, and supervisors.
● Schedules a weekly program for all department staff
● Trains staff and has overall responsibility, so all bar staff can prepare recipes and serve according to the standards.
● Participates at the weekly F&B department meeting, contributing to the smooth operation of the hotel. Partakes in the Duty Manager’s Rota.
● Creates new ideas for drinks and cocktails, plan and revise bars menus, in accordance with the F&B Manager Makes budget proposals in relation to equipment and staffing.
● In coordination with the F&B Controller, prepares a monthly forecast, inventories, and spot checks of all bars.

● Is responsible for the requisitions and controls the use of all materials, as well as inter-bar and inter- kitchen transfer.
● Supervises and coordinates the staff working outside the bar, ensuring that everything is according to the standards.
● Keeps a daily logbook, recording sales, guests’ comments and other information.
● Deals with customers’ complaints and analyzes all faults. Should be very well versed in local area history, places of interest, shopping etc.
● Is very familiar with the Hotel policies and procedures, and the physical layout of its premises Is knowledgeable to the emergency procedures.
● Performs any related tasks assigned by superiors.

Qualifications and Educational Background

● Diploma from a Hotel School and/ or experience in a relative position
● Certified bartender, or relevant qualification
