Job Description
Maintain a high cleanliness standard in the preparation and service areas, same as cleanliness and order of the restaurant.
Responsibilities and Duties
● Maintains a high level of personal hygiene and appearance.
● Washes dishes, glassware, flatware and utensils by hand, or using dishwashers.
● Uses the exact quantities of chemicals and cleaners, according to the instructions.
● Places clean dishes, utensils and cooking equipment, in storage areas, and avoids damages.
● Is in charge, for the cleanness of all Kitchen spaces, tiles, floorings, walls, refrigerators etc.
● Cleans the dishes washing machine so that it is always in functioning condition, and adds chemicals against lime scale, after directions from the supervisor.
● Maintains kitchen work areas, equipment, and utensils in clean and orderly condition.
● Cleans garbage cans, and removes trash, placing it in designated pickup areas.
● Assists on banquet tables set up if asked to.
● Assists in transporting supplies and equipment if requested.
● Cleans up and stores supplies
● Reports any damage in relation to the installation or equipment.
● Is well familiar with the Hotel policies and procedures, and the physical layout of its premises. Is knowledgeable about emergency procedures.
● Performs any related tasks assigned by superior.
